IRC Help = Getting Started

First off, you must have downloaded mIRC and have it properly installed. Grab it here.

Once you have installed it and filled in all your details etc. You’re ready to get started.

Execute the program (run it) and in the bar at the bottom, type ‘/server irc.morat.net’ (This is if you want to connect to the Morat server, the server the [NRC] Channel is on). Also, leave of the ‘’ marks.

Now, when it is connected, type ‘/join #NRC’ to join the [NRC] Channel. If you have done it right, you will see a topic and anyone who is online in there.
